“Resources for Engaging in Dialogue about Digital Dilemmas from Common Sense Media” presented by Keegan Korf.
Description:
Children and teens today are more exposed to digital media than ever before. It’s a huge part of their lives, not only for entertainment but also for education. They are using media in schools and to socialize with their peers and while this provides huge benefits in communication – it can also cause digital drama. Common Sense Media provides resources for educators, parents, and mentors to help guide our children in positive direction when using digital media. Free, useful resources will be provided revolving around the topics of cyberbullying, sexting, selfie-culture, screen time, and digital footprints.
