Homelessness

We learned about homelessness at Operation S.M.A.R.T.  Today I learned that 1,000 kids my age are homeless in Omaha right now. – Jada

We got “Trick or Treat for Charity” t-shirts and we gave cans of food to the homeless because they barely have any food. – Amari

The girls made spider webs with cooked spaghetti dipped in glue.

Azure said the noodles felt like brains.  Virginia said, “Ms. Mara, we definitely can’t eat this spaghetti.”

I like being the bank teller because I get to see the smile on the younger girls’ faces.  I like to see them saving their money.  I definitely advise them to do it because it will help them with their future life, with college.  It’s important. – Ciera

The Best Class All Year

This was the best class all year because we learned how to put on a condom and how to avoid pregnancy and STD’s.  This information was good because we would not get this in any other places.

Abstinence – it’s 100%

Thank you Metro Omaha Medical Society for purchasing anatomically correct dolls for our My Girlfriend Zelda classes.  It’s surgery day for Zelda.  Her surgeons look very competent, don’t they?
