Have you ever looked up in the night sky and wondered about the immense vastness of space? Since the beginning of humankind, the stars have fascinated and astonished people. We will be journeying to UNO’s Planetarium to interactively learn about space. The Planetarium offers multimedia programs portraying seasonal and current astronomical events. These are “Live” programs, designed for general audiences, highlighting star patterns, mythology and planets visible in the current sky. A staff astronomer is available to discuss audience questions, following the presentation.

Dinner is provided at Girls Inc. North campus at 6:30pm. We will leave for UNO at 7:15pm and will be back to Girls Inc. by 9:30pm.
