Eureka! Field Trip: Alpaca Farm (Interns 1)
April 9, 2016 @ 10:45 am - 4:00 pm
Have you ever seen an Alpaca? A close cousin of the Llama, Alpacas are gentle, soft mammals whose fur is used to make a variety of different things including: socks, blankets, and sweaters. We will be traveling to Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, to have an up-close and hands on experience with Alpacas. You will get to touch them, feed them, and learn more about how their fur is spun into useable items that humans can use. Meet at Girls Inc. North Campus at 10:45am. We will eat lunch in Fort Calhoun and will arrive back to Girls Inc. at 4:00pm.
To attend this fieldtrip, please RSVP by Friday, April 1st, 2016.
