DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays 3-15-16 to 5-3-16 (8 week course) \nThe Girls Inc. counseling center is offering a special 8 week comprehensive and research-based sex education course to Eureka! Vets and Interns 1. In Eureka! we find it of great importance that our girls are provided a quality sexual health education. Through the B.E.L. program\, girls will be taught about a variety of topics\, including: Anatomy\, Menstruation\, Birth Control\, Pregnancy\, STD’s\, Consent\, Healthy Relationships\, LGBT\, and Body Image. The goal of the program is to help young people exercise responsibility regarding sexual relationship\, which includes addressing abstinence\, pressures to become prematurely involved in sexual intercourse\, and the use of contraception and other sexual health measures. All girls must have a consent form signed by their parents in order to take this class. All classes will be led by the Girls Inc. Director of Sex Education\, Kristen Lilla MSW\, LCSW\, CST.
