Yesterday the girls read And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street. Today they’ll work on their own books – To Think that I Saw it on Girls Inc. Avenue.
Classroom dialogue:
Jahnni – A horse pulls the first cart but a zebra pulls the second one.
Ms. Mara – We started with…what? That’s right. A horse and a wagon. Now we have…?
Nevaeh – An elephant!
Azure – Giraffes!
Jahnni – A genie!
Ms. Mara – A Raja. Can eveyone say raja? Now there’s a band in the wagon and…
Azure – and a farmer wants to hear the band.
