YWCA Paint the Town Orange
We entered the banquet, were greeted and made our way to the boutique (yay shopping!). The next step, the bar…but no alcohol. We sipped on Sunkist to stay true to the “Paint the Town Orange” theme. We modeled for a few pics, then were seated for the program. Chicken with an apricot sauce, carrots, and Parisienne Potatoes (oui oui!) were on the menu. Ms. Liz Funk spoke to us about “supergirl,” the non-realistic perfect teenage queen. She encouraged us to be ourselves and that no one is perfect. You go Liz..preach on sista!

I was so impressed with how well the girls did with alphabet recognition. It got a little crazy when we had a fire drill in the middle of class but the girls all got right back to it and really focused. Everyone wanted to win a piece of candy! – Ms. Tess
